A price, not a range
Fifteen million euros. Straight sale, nothing else on the table. Foot Mercato report that Toulouse FC have fixed their number for Yann Gboho and have no interest in dressing it up as a loan with an option, or spreading it over instalments.
The board are taking a hard line. Gboho is tied down until June 2027, so Toulouse have two more seasons to cash in on their left winger and no reason to panic.
He is coming off the best year of his career. Eight goals, three assists, numbers that put him among the most productive wingers in the division. At 25, the former Rennes man is a finished product rather than a project.

Lens are circling, England has the wallet
There is no shortage of interest. RC Lens have been reworking their left flank and are watching closely. Hull City have made contact too, and they are not the only British club sniffing around.
The asking price sorts the queue. Marseille have liked his profile for a while but would struggle to find that kind of money before Tuesday, given they still need to sell before they can buy.
For a Championship side with Premier League parachute money, 15 million is an ordinary outlay. For a Ligue 1 club running tight, it is a wall.
Toulouse are standing firm
No haggling. TFC think they have a guaranteed asset on the books and see nothing in the calendar that forces them to discount him.
The logic stacks up. A selling club that keeps letting players go cheap loses twice, once on the fee and again on the credibility of its next negotiation. Toulouse built their whole model on getting proper value out of exits.
The clock is the only real problem. Tuesday is the deadline. If nobody produces the money, Gboho starts the season in Ligue 1 and Toulouse spend a year managing a player everyone else wanted.
