Premier League: Sunderland agree 8 million pound deal for Jules Ahoka

Eight million pounds, and a medical booked

Sunderland are not hanging about. The Wearside club has reached an agreement with Royal Antwerp for Jules Ahoka, with Sky Sports putting the fee at around 8 million pounds, a shade over 9 million euros.

Ahoka is on board. Personal terms are settled and he has clearance to make the trip.

The medical is set for this weekend. Then it becomes official.

Le Bris gets the midfielder he asked for

The Congolese midfielder built his reputation in Belgium with Antwerp, which is where Sunderland’s scouts found him. Regis Le Bris’ staff had flagged the position as a priority weeks ago.
