Bulldogs vs Rabbitohs: a huge clash in the race for the finals 
This is a huge Round 24 NRL fixture taking place in Sydney on Friday night. With both sides locked in a direct battle near the Top 8, Canterbury Bulldogs and South Sydney Rabbitohs are playing for far more than two points in the table: the winner takes a giant step toward finals football.
These two proud clubs are still chasing the echoes of better days. The Bulldogs have not reached the grand final since 2014, while the Rabbitohs have only been back there once since their title, losing to Penrith in 2021.

The Rabbitohs were made to sweat 
South Sydney fans went through the full emotional rollercoaster against the Eels. After a brilliant first half that sent them into the break with a big lead, the Bunnies completely lost their way after the interval and almost coughed up one of the biggest comebacks the competition has ever seen before edging it 28-24.
It took a moment of real quality from Cody Walker late on to seal a massive win and keep them in seventh place.
If the second half exposed some real cracks, the opening 40 was a reminder of just how dangerous this side can be when it clicks. The Rabbitohs head into this derby looking to build on that firepower and lock down their place in the finals picture.
