The final step before the signature
The saga is almost over. According to Foot Mercato, Maghnes Akliouche is expected at PSG this Thursday for his medical. That comes a month after reports that he had already struck an agreement with the Paris club, with talks with AS Monaco stalling over the transfer fee.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder, who came through the Monaco academy, is now set to leave the Principality after several seasons of steady progress. A recent France international, he joins an already crowded Paris attack, where competition for places is going to be fierce.

A busy summer at the Parc des Princes
The Akliouche deal is just one part of PSG’s summer rebuild. Paris have also sealed Kang-In Lee’s move to Atletico Madrid, while talks with RB Leipzig over Yan Diomande are continuing. It all points to a lively close-season, with targeted arrivals and departures helping to top up the coffers.
For Luis Enrique, Akliouche’s arrival adds even more depth to an attack already built to handle a packed campaign next season.
