A sudden goodbye in Jacksonville
Trystan Colon is done. On Tuesday the Jacksonville Jaguars moved the offensive lineman to the reserve/retired list, and just like that a six-year NFL career ends at 28.
He had inked a one-year deal with Jacksonville this summer. He will not play a snap of it.
Try it for $0.99.
A hole that now needs filling
Losing an experienced interior blocker scrambles the Jaguars’ plans up front. Kickoff is only weeks out, and the coaching staff suddenly has to rework its protection.
The timing stings. Colon’s decision lands in the thick of training camp, the stretch when the roster hardens and every available body counts.
