San Jose kept a rising forward off the market. The Sharks re-signed Collin Graf to a three-year contract worth 12.75 million dollars, an annual cap hit of 4.25 million that runs through the 2028-29 season.
Graf earned the raise on the ice. The 23-year-old scored 21 goals and added 25 assists for 46 points across 81 games, cracking the 20-goal mark for the first time and posting career highs in nearly every offensive category.

More than a finisher
General manager Mike Grier pointed to the parts of Graf’s game that skip the scoresheet. He credited Graf as an effective penalty killer and praised the versatility that let the staff move him through the lineup.
Grier tied the jump to work ethic and called Graf an important piece of a young core. The deal keeps his rights in San Jose for three more seasons.
Locking in the core
The Sharks keep building around players in their early twenties. Graf hands them scoring, penalty-kill minutes and cost certainty as the roster climbs.
