CF Montreal vs Inter Miami : the Florida leaders are out to keep the run going 
Montreal are back at Stade Saputo after a frustrating trip to Nashville. CF Montreal didnt disgrace themselves against the league leaders, but another defeat has stretched a winless run that is starting to bite in the playoff race.
The schedule is not doing them any favours. Inter Miami head into Canada on a five-match winning streak and boasting one of the best away records in MLS. Even with their squad still not fully together after the World Cup, the reigning champions keep finding ways to win.
Montreal are defending better, but they still are not moving forward 
The defensive work has been much better in recent weeks. Montreal have not conceded more than once in any of their four outings this month, after spending long stretches looking as if they could fold at the first sign of pressure. Philippe Eullaffroy’s work is beginning to show.
The issue is at the other end. CF Montreal still lack pace in possession and struggle to create enough when Prince Owusu is well marked. The striker remains the club’s standout threat by a distance, but too often he is left with scraps.
Stade Saputo is still a foothold, though. Three of Montreal’s four wins this season have come at home, with the defence particularly tight in those games. If they are to stand up to Miami, they will need that same level of discipline for the full 90.
Inter Miami keep winning even when it is not pretty 
Miami had to come from behind again against Chicago. Nothing new there. The Floridians have got used to fighting through rough patches before turning games around, driven by an attack that almost always finds a way.
Luis Suarez proved the point again with a brace in his 100th appearance for the club. With Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul still not fully back, the Uruguayan is carrying the load and giving a patched-up side a vital focal point.
Their record away from home is hard to ignore. Seven wins in nine trips, eight straight away matches without defeat and three wins in a row against Montreal: the visitors are the clear favourites heading into this one.

Montreal look more organised at the back, but their lack of cutting edge is a real concern with one of the most efficient teams in the league coming to town. CF Montreal can slow the tempo, but they do not have many answers if Miami strike first.
The Floridians are not always immaculate, especially with several internationals still a doubt. Even so, their squad depth and ability to raise the pace at key moments make up for the messier spells.
Inter Miami are on a five-game league winning run and travel extremely well this season. Against a Montreal side that have not won since early May, the visitors look well placed to extend that streak.
