PSG have struck a deal with Akliouche
Things are looking promising at the Parc des Princes. According to RMC Sport, PSG and Maghnes Akliouche have agreed the terms of a five-year contract. Hardly a shock given the club have been tracking the move for a long time, but it does confirm one thing above all: this one now looks set to happen.
Luis Enrique and Luis Campos have liked the profile for some time. And on his side, the France international, who has 10 caps and 1 goal for Les Bleus, has never hidden his preference. PSG have always been his priority. A transfer window where both sides want the same thing? That does not come around often.
One sharp twist in the timing: Akliouche is currently at the 2026 World Cup with France in the United States, right in the middle of the biggest stretch of his career. It adds a bit of spice to an already busy spell for the 24-year-old attacking midfielder.

Now for Monaco
An agreement with the player is one thing. A deal with his club is another. And that is where things get tricky for PSG. Talks with AS Monaco have begun, but they are still in their early stages. The two clubs still need to settle on a transfer fee, and Monaco have never made a habit of selling their brightest talent on the cheap.
Paris may have to be patient, or open the chequebook if the Principality side decide to drive a hard bargain. Nothing unusual for a deal of this size, but caution is still the word until a full club-to-club agreement is signed off.

Diomande, the other Paris project
PSG are not putting all their eggs in one basket. Alongside the Akliouche deal, talks are continuing with RB Leipzig over Yan Diomande. It is moving at its own pace, but it shows Paris are not planning to stop at one attacking addition this summer.
Two different targets, two separate negotiations, but the same aim: strengthen the squad without rushing into anything.

Kang-In Lee heads for Atletico
Where there are arrivals, there are usually exits, and PSG are no exception. Kang-In Lee is set to leave the capital for Atletico Madrid. An agreement has now been reached between the two clubs for a transfer worth a little over 40 million euros, bonuses included.
It is a fee that reflects the South Korean’s rise since arriving in Paris, and it feeds into a PSG window that is already shaping up to be a busy one, with targeted signings and sales bringing money through the door.
It looks like a long summer ahead at the Parc des Princes, with some deals close to the line and others still dragging on. And, clearly, it is nowhere near done yet.
