Braga – Ferencvaros: do-or-die or the exit for the Portuguese 
This Wednesday night the Estádio Municipal de Braga turns into a pressure cooker for the Europa League last-16 return. Braga must pull off a miracle after collapsing in the first leg; they’re two goals down and running out of time. Ferencvaros, by contrast, are dreaming of making national history.

Last week in Budapest Braga took a proper hit (2-0). They bossed the ball — almost double the possession — but it meant nothing at the final whistle. All that dominance turned into dust because Ferencvaros were ruthlessly efficient.
Now the Archbishops face a mountain if they want a return to the quarter-finals for the first time since 2016. Don’t write them off though. Braga have pulled off mad comebacks before — remember that wild turnaround against Sheriff Tiraspol in 2022. They know how to handle European nights. Expect them to crank the tempo from minute one and try to set the stadium alight.
Ferencvaros don’t want to be sent packing 
On the other side, it’s euphoria. The Hungarians pulled off a neat robbery in the first leg thanks to cannon strikes from Gabi Kanichowsky and Lenny Joseph, and they arrive in Portugal with a healthy cushion. Robbie Keane’s side are riding a purple patch: six straight wins in all competitions and 17 goals in that run.
Still, there are warning signs. The Green Eagles tend to leak on the road in Europe — five defeats in their last eight C3 away trips, four of those by two goals or more. They also haven’t forgotten last year’s cruel exit to Viktoria Plzen after winning the first leg. If they want to become the first Hungarian side in 41 years to reach a European quarter-final, they’ll need to dig in and ride out the Portuguese storm.
