Fulham – Tottenham: a London derby to survive… or to reset
Sunday at Craven Cottage promises sparks. Fulham still have their eyes on the top half, while Tottenham turn up in full panic mode: stop the slide and finally win in 2026. Confidence on one side, deep doubt on the other. Two completely different trajectories collide.
Fulham: get the momentum rolling again
The Cottagers caught a breather at just the right time. That 3-1 at Sunderland snapped a three-game losing streak and shoved Marco Silva’s team back into the top-half conversation. Raúl Jiménez led the charge with a commanding brace and Alex Iwobi wrapped things up late. When Fulham’s front line clicks, they can hurt teams badly.
Sitting tenth before this round, they’re only three points off possible European places — unexpected, but believable for a side that mixes control with rapid breaks. Craven Cottage has been a proper fortress this winter: four wins and a draw between late December and late January. Everton stopped the streak, yes, but Fulham remain awkward to beat at home. The real issue is at the back: no clean sheets in their last eleven games. That leak is still stopping them from taking the next step.
Tottenham: a season teetering on the edge
At Tottenham the tweak phase is over — it’s full-on emergency now. The Spurs haven’t won in nine Premier League games in 2026, a run made nastier by that 4-1 loss to Arsenal in the North London derby. Igor Tudor’s baptism couldn’t have been more brutal. They looked okay in the first half, and Randal Kolo Muani pulled them level, but they folded after the break — outpaced and out-confident.
Sitting 16th, the drop zone is creeping dangerously close. Another game without a win would match their worst winless run since 1994. Oddly, they’ve been sharper away than at home this season: 19 of their 29 points came on the road, and they’ve netted at least twice in three of their last four away trips across competitions. Injuries and instability bite, sure, but the attacking firepower is still there. What they need is the mental steel they’ve been missing for weeks.
Likely lineups
Fulham: Leno ; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon ; Berge, Iwobi ; Wilson, Smith Rowe, Bobb ; Jimenez
Tottenham: Vicario ; Danso, Van de Ven, Dragusin ; Porro, Palhinha, Gallagher, Spence ; Sarr, Simons ; Kolo Muani
Football Tip Fulham vs Tottenham
Tottenham win or draw
Fulham arrive with a clearer collective idea, but their defensive gaps hand the opponent chances. Tottenham, with their backs against the wall and a few key returns, could grind out a result at Craven Cottage. A first win of 2026 still looks tough, but the Spurs have enough to leave with at least a point.

First, a word on our tips
- What we publish on Mathodds is analysis, and nothing more. It’s an opinion — a snapshot — not a promise. Sport is unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak goal and the whole script flips.
- Let’s be blunt: there’s no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when something looks “obvious”, it rarely is. That means you can lose. You will lose, at some point.
- Be sensible. Bet small, set a limit and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need for bills. Don’t chase losses — that never ends well.
- Betting should be entertainment, not a job or an income source. If it’s taking over your life, making you anxious or stressed, step back. Talk to a specialist if you need to. That’s what they’re there for.
- Ultimately you’re responsible. Reading our content means you accept the risk is real and it won’t vanish, even with the best analysis in the world.
- Important reminder: betting is illegal for minors and must follow your local laws. Gambling can spiral (money loss, family tension, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No liability
Our tips are not a contract. They carry no legal weight. In plain terms: you can’t hold us responsible if a bet goes wrong.
Facts change
A tip is based on what we know when we write it. But lineups change, a player can get injured, the weather can turn — and the analysis can become obsolete fast. We can’t be held responsible for that.
Your part
