Los Angeles Clippers – Minnesota Timberwolves: West showdown
The Clippers meet the Wolves for the third and penultimate time this season, with the next two games set for the Intuit Dome. They’ve split the pair so far. Same goal for both clubs: secure the best possible spot before the postseason sprint.
Los Angeles Clippers: get back to winning ways
The Clippers’ ambitions took a hit after the Harden and Zubac trades at the deadline, but Tyronn Lue’s men still have every reason to fight for wins. The target remains clear: climb the standings and give themselves the best shot at the playoffs. They’re 10th at 27-30, three games back of the Warriors in 8th.
Lately it’s been close but costly. A 122-125 loss to the Lakers where Nicolas Batum missed the OT shot, then a 109-111 defeat to the Magic with Bennedict Mathurin missing a potential game-winner from deep. Not catastrophic — just two games that should’ve swung their way. Against Minnesota, the Clippers at least have the recent bragging rights: a 115-96 win in their last meeting, a night Kawhi Leonard lit up.
INJURY REPORT : Darius Garland (OUT) – John Collins (questionable) – Kawhi Leonard (questionable)
Minnesota Timberwolves: hang on to 3rd place contention
The Wolves were out of the top-3 chat for a while, but a slowdown from the Nuggets, Rockets and Lakers shoved Minnesota back into the picture. The top two look out of reach, but before this game they sit just one game behind the Nuggets in third. It won’t be easy against an LA side that scrapes for every win and boasts one of the season’s best players, but the Wolves will be grateful to have a full squad.
In form, Finch’s team have won four of their last five, including a narrow 117-114 victory over the Blazers where Jaden McDaniels produced one of his best nights (29 points, 6 rebounds, 5 blocks on 12/16 shooting and 5/6 from three). He’s going to have his hands full again, asked to slow Kawhi down.
INJURY REPORT : –

Los Angeles Clippers : Kris Dunn, Derrick Jones Jr, Kawhi Leonard, John Collins, Brook Lopez
Minnesota Timberwolves : Donte DiVincenzo, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert
NBA Prediction Los Angeles Clippers vs Minnesota Timberwolves

First, a word on our picks
- What we publish on Mathodds is analysis, nothing else. It’s an opinion, a snapshot of the moment — not a promise. Sport is messy and unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak moment… and the whole picture flips.
- Let’s be blunt: there’s no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when something looks obvious, it can fail. Yes, that means you can lose. And you will, at some point.
- Best practice: be sensible. Stake small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And don’t chase losses — that rarely ends well.
- Betting should stay a leisure activity, not a job or income source. If it starts to take over, frustrates you or stresses you out, stop. Talk to a specialist if you need to. That’s what they’re there for.
- Ultimately, you’re responsible. Reading our content means you accept the risk exists and won’t go away, even with the sharpest analysis.
- Essential reminder: betting is banned for minors and must follow your local laws. Gambling can spiral (money loss, family strain, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.

Details can change
A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. Between then and the match, a lineup can change, a player can pick up an injury, conditions can shift… and the analysis can become outdated. We can’t be held liable for that.
