Toronto Raptors vs San Antonio Spurs – Free NBA Prediction and Picks – February 25, 2026

Toronto Raptors – San Antonio Spurs: another defensive showdown?

Second and final meeting of the season between the Raptors and the Spurs. Both teams are parked in the hunt for their conference Playoffs. Toronto want second spot. The Spurs might try to topple the Thunder from the top they’ve sat on all season.

Toronto Raptors: back-to-back from hell

Toronto haven’t had an easy run lately — swinging between beatable bottom teams and heavyweight tests. Wins over Milwaukee (122-94) and Chicago (110-101) calmed nerves. Losses to Detroit (95-113) and Oklahoma City (107-116) left a sour taste.

In their last 10 games, Darko Rajakovic’s side sit dead even at 5-5. Not nearly enough to keep pace with the East’s top four. The Raptors are 2.5 games back of the Knicks and Cavs heading into this one. To win they’ll need one of those trademark defensive shifts — and they face a huge challenge in Victor Wembanyama.

San Antonio Spurs: can they make it 10 straight?

The Spurs are flying — nine wins in a row, their longest streak this season. Most of those were expected, but the latest, a 114-103 win over the Pistons, was a statement: San Antonio are serious contenders. Even against Detroit’s physicality, the Spurs stuck to their plan and closed a controlled game.

A tenth straight won’t be handed to them. The Raptors stand in the way. Even on a back-to-back, Scottie Barnes and co. will bring the same physical bite the Pistons showed. San Antonio start as favorites, but they need another top-level performance to hit double digits and join the exclusive 10+ win club this season.

INJURY REPORT : Mason Plumlee (OUT)

Toronto Raptors : Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, Brandon Ingram, Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl

NBA Prediction Toronto Raptors vs San Antonio Spurs

Spurs to win by 5 or more

The Raptors’ biggest weakness is inside. Jakob Poeltl is still hobbled by the injury that sidelined him this season, and Collin Murray-Boyles or Sandro Mamukelashvili aren’t true centers. Across the paint stands one of the league’s best bigs, Victor Wembanyama. Even if Toronto has a plan to slow the freak, his defensive presence and rebounding will swing things. Expect the Spurs to win by at least five.

First — a note on our picks

  • What we publish on Mathodds is analysis, nothing more. We offer an opinion, a snapshot of the moment, not a promise. Sport is unpredictable: a red card, a late injury, a freak play and the whole script changes.
  • Let’s be clear: there is no risk-free bet. Even the ‘obvious’ ones aren’t. Yes, you can lose. You will lose at some point.
  • Stay sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And don’t chase losses — it rarely ends well.
  • Betting should stay a pastime, not a job or income. If it starts to take over or stresses you out, take a break. If needed, contact a specialist organisation — that’s what they’re for.
  • Ultimately, you’re responsible. Reading our content means you accept the risk exists and that it won’t disappear, even with the best analysis.
  • Important: betting is forbidden to minors and must comply with your local laws. Gambling can spiral (money loss, family strain, addiction). Need help? Players Info Service: 09 74 75 13 13 (standard-rate call) https://www.gambleaware.org/.

No guarantees from us

Our predictions are not a contract. They carry no legal weight. Plain and simple: you can’t rely on them to claim anything if a bet loses.

Details can change

A pick is based on what we know when we write it. Lineups change, a player gets hurt, conditions shift… and the analysis can become outdated fast. We can’t be held responsible for that.

Your role

Before placing a bet, check that gambling is legal where you live. If it isn’t, that’s your responsibility, not ours.
