Toronto Raptors – Oklahoma City Thunder: Revenge for OKC?

The second and final regular-season meeting between the Raptors and the Thunder. OKC got done at home last time, so Mark Daigneault’s crew will be itching to even the score on Canadian soil — and just as importantly, stop the Spurs from nibbling away at their lead. For Toronto, sweeping the defending champs is still on the table, and it would inject serious confidence into their run-in.

Toronto Raptors: hang with the top four

Since the All-Star break the Raptors haven’t slipped up. Two wins from two, and that’s momentum heading into the big stretch. Four wins in their last five — the only loss a 95-113 blip against the Pistons — has them comfortable in the East top five at 34-23, three games clear of the 76ers in sixth.

Toronto can point to a recent blueprint: a 103-101 road win at the Paycom Center about a month ago. No surprises there — Scottie Barnes and Co. nicked that game with their best trait: defense. In the clutch they piled up stops against a Thunder side that was healthier then. Add Immanuel Quickley’s 23 points (6/10 from deep) and suddenly the Raptors are a problem for anyone.

Oklahoma City Thunder: protect the cushion

Still missing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and other rotation pieces, the Thunder are somehow still winning. They’ve picked up two wins since the break and four in five if you stretch the sample. The playbook hasn’t changed: defensive intensity, cut passing lanes, run in transition and score the easy buckets.

Daigneault’s bench has enough to keep OKC competitive against other playoff teams — just look at the 121-113 win over Cleveland. Guys like Jared McCain, Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe are shouldering more scoring, and the Holmgren–Hartenstein duo do brutal work on the boards, gobbling up offensive rebounds when they’re paired. The Raptors will be a proper test for this still-weakened title side, and a win would shut down San Antonio’s push for first.

NBA Prediction Toronto Raptors vs Oklahoma City Thunder

Under 220.5 points

The Thunder (one of the league’s best defenses) against the Raptors (sixth-best defense) points to a low-scoring affair. Toronto will control the tempo at home, and it’s likely this game mirrors their first meeting, which finished with 204 total points. The Raptors thrive in tight games — so does OKC — so both teams will probably steer it that way without breaking a sweat.

First, a word on our picks

  • What we publish on Mathodds is analysis, nothing more. It’s our view of the moment, not a promise. Sport is messy. A red card, an injury, a freak moment… and the picture flips.
  • Let’s be clear: there’s no risk-free bet. Even when something looks “obvious”, it’s not. You can lose. You will lose sometimes.
  • Play it smart. Bet small, set a strict budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And don’t chase losses — that never ends well.
  • Betting should be entertainment, not a job or income source. If it’s taking over your life or causing stress, step away. If needed, talk to a specialist.
  • At the end of the day, you’re responsible. Reading our takes means you accept the risk — it doesn’t disappear because we wrote something confident.
  • Important reminder: betting is prohibited for minors and must follow your local laws. Gambling can spiral (money loss, family tension, addiction). Need help? Gambling helpline: 09 74 75 13 13 (non-premium rate) https://www.gambleaware.org/.

No liability from us

Information can change

A pick is based on what we know when we write it. Lineups shift, a player gets hurt, conditions change… and the take can go stale fast. We can’t be held responsible for that.
