Memphis Grizzlies – Sacramento Kings: let the draft lottery decide
Unlike the Pistons vs Spurs match, this Grizzlies-Kings game isn’t the night’s main attraction. Still, there are a few things worth watching. Neither team has much left to play for — aside from better lottery odds.
Memphis Grizzlies: get back on track at home
The Grizzlies have slid into a slump. One win in their last five and Tuomas Iisalo’s side are drifting away from the Clippers and the Play-In, which points to a fairly uneventful end to the season. With the injury list still stacked, Ty Jerome has become the go-to — he’s been playing very well since his return.
This matchup should be well within Memphis’s reach and gives the youngsters more minutes to learn. In recent games we’ve seen solid performances from Olivier Maxence-Propser, GG Jackson and Taylor Hendricks. Those kids can press for rotation spots next season when Memphis tries to re-enter the playoff race.
INJURY REPORT : Ja Morant (OUT) – Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (OUT) – Cedric Coward (OUT) – Brandon Clarke (OUT) – Zach Edey (OUT) – Santi Aldama (OUT) – Kyle Anderson (doubtful)
Sacramento Kings: try to avoid a 17th straight loss
The Kings are in the worst losing run in franchise history — 16 straight, and no “Light the Beam” since January 18. Not one. To make matters worse, Doug Christie has lost Zach LaVine, then Domantas Sabonis, then De’Andre Hunter to injuries that keep them out for the season. Maybe it’s a mix of genuine injuries and a push for better lottery positioning, but a win to snap this streak would have helped.
With three of their leaders sidelined, DeMar DeRozan is somewhat alone. The recent 122-139 loss to the Spurs was less ugly than most — there was a proud reaction that briefly troubled the West’s second-place team. For the rest of the season, Sacramento can only hope the youngsters improve with minutes, but don’t expect that to turn into plenty of wins.
INJURY REPORT : Domantas Sabonis (OUT) – Zach LaVine (OUT) – De’Andre Hunter (OUT) – Dylan Cardwell (OUT)
Probable starters
Memphis Grizzlies : Ty Jerome, Walter Clayton Jr, Jaylen Wells, Taylor Hendricks, Olivier Maxence-Prosper
Sacramento Kings : Russell Westbrook, DeMar DeRozan, Keegan Murray, Precious Achiuwa, Maxime Raynaud
NBA Pick Memphis Grizzlies vs Sacramento Kings
Grizzlies to Win
The Kings have taken just 3 road wins from 29 attempts. Even stretched thin by injuries, the Grizzlies have shown they’re still a competent side you shouldn’t sleep on. At home Tennessee is 11-15 — not dazzling, but a lot better than Sacramento. Tuomas Iisalo’s men should win and hand the Kings their 17th straight loss.

First, a word about our picks
- What we publish on Mathodds are analyses — nothing more. We offer an opinion, a snapshot of the moment, never a guarantee. Sport is unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak moment… and the whole script changes.
- Let’s be clear: there are no risk-free bets. Even when something looks “obvious”, it isn’t. And yes, that means you can lose. You will, at some point.
- Play it sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And seriously: don’t chase losses, it rarely ends well.
- Betting should stay a pastime, not a job or a source of income. If it’s taking over, making you irritable or stressed, take a break. If needed, talk to a specialist organisation. That’s what they’re there for.
- In the end, responsibility sits with you. Reading our content means you accept the risk exists and won’t disappear, even with the best analysis in the world.
- Important reminder: betting is forbidden for minors and must comply with your country’s laws. Gambling can spiral (financial losses, family tensions, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.

Our picks aren’t a contract. They carry no legal weight. In short: you can’t rely on them to make any legal claim if a bet loses.
Info can change
A pick is based on what we know at the time of writing. But lineups (like the Grizzlies’) change, a player gets hurt, the weather turns — the analysis can become outdated fast. We can’t be held responsible for that.
