Los Angeles Clippers – Denver Nuggets: 2025 Playoffs rematch

Last game of the season between the Clippers and Nuggets. Different seasons, same target: win, climb the table and lock the best spot before the postseason. Denver want to keep third in the West; Los Angeles are gunning for the best shot at eighth — anything better than ninth or tenth makes life easier when the playoffs start.

Los Angeles Clippers: let the Intuit Dome push them

The All‑Star break came at the right time for a Clippers squad stuck in a nasty run of fixtures. After this one they face the Lakers, then host the Magic and Wolves. Before the break, the Clippers had to grind past the Rockets twice (95-102 and 105-102) after beating the Timberwolves (115-92). Still, Kawhi and co. have three wins in four and keep moving despite the James Harden and Ivica Zubac moves.

At home the Dome has been a boost — 13 wins from 24 — and their defense has tightened since that late-December swing, pushing the Clippers to ninth in the league allowing just 112.3 points per game. Offense hangs on Kawhi Leonard, obviously. Question is whether he’s as hot as in the All‑Star exhibition, where he dropped 31 in a quarter for Team Stripes.

Denver Nuggets: looking to sweep the season series

The Nuggets have been steady all season, methodical rather than flashy. David Adelman’s side sit third in the West, 2.5 games back of the Spurs for second, but only 1.5 up on sixth and three clear of seventh — so margins are tiny and mistakes costly.

Injuries have nagged them this year and they’ll be without Peyton Watson and Aaron Gordon here. It’s a blow, but Colorado have adapted. Spencer Jones will plug that short-corner role and, offensively, Denver still run everything through the Jamal Murray–Nikola Jokic pick-and-roll. They lead the league at 120.4 points per game.

NBA Prediction Los Angeles Clippers vs Denver Nuggets

Over 224.5 points

For the first game back after the break, legs should be as fresh as you can get. Jokic will look normal — the All‑Star grub‑fest isn’t a conditioning test — and the Clippers, buoyed by Kawhi’s season, should hit above their usual offensive marks. All signs point to an open game: not a defensive travesty, but not a grind either. Back the points total.

A quick word on our picks

  • What we publish on Mathodds are opinions and analysis, nothing guaranteed. We give a read on the moment, not a contract. Sport is messy: a red card, an injury, a freak moment — and the whole script flips.
  • Let’s be blunt: there’s no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even the “obvious” ones throw surprises. You can lose. You will at some point.
  • Keep it sensible. Bet small, set a limit and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. Never chase losses — that never ends well.
  • Betting should be a hobby, not a job. If it starts to take over, becomes stressful or annoying, take a break. If needed, talk to a specialist service. That’s what they’re for.
  • Ultimately you’re responsible. Reading our content means you accept the risk is real and permanent, no matter how good the analysis looks.
  • Essential reminder: betting is for adults only and must follow the law where you live. Gambling can spiral (losses, family pressure, addiction). Need help? Players Info Service: 09 74 75 13 13 (non-premium rate) https://www.gambleaware.org/.

No legal promise from us

Our picks aren’t a contract. They carry no legal weight. In plain terms: you can’t use them to claim anything if a bet goes south.

Information moves fast

A pick is only as good as the info at the time. Team sheets change, players get hurt, conditions shift — and that can make an analysis obsolete. We can’t be held liable for those changes.

Your role

Before staking money, check that betting is legal where you live. If it isn’t, that’s on you, not us.

Responsible gambling first

We’ll say it again: gamble responsibly. If you struggle to control it, get help straight away. We can’t take responsibility for compulsive or excessive use of our content.
