Fulham – Everton: Craven Cottage ready to roar after late Old Trafford sucker-punch
They almost did the impossible. Two goals in the dying minutes, Old Trafford frozen, then that sucker-punch in stoppage time. Fulham head back to London with blood in their mouths to face Everton in this 25th Premier League round. Both teams sit on 34 points. This one could matter in the fight for the top 10. The Cottagers are wounded but not broken. The Toffees arrive on a four-match unbeaten run. All the ingredients for a proper electric night by the Thames are there.
Fulham: cold fury and a home fortress returned
Last Sunday was a rollercoaster for Marco Silva. One minute ecstasy, the next pure frustration. Raul Jimenez and Kevin pulled off a 91st-minute equaliser. Then Benjamin Sesko ended it at 94. Back home with nothing. The late defeat is Fulham’s second straight loss on the road after a decent away run.
At Craven Cottage it’s a different story. Four league games unbeaten there — wins over Nottingham Forest, Chelsea and Brighton, plus a draw with Liverpool to kick off 2026. They’re mostly narrow wins, one-goal affairs. But after a bleak spell with defeats to Manchester City and Crystal Palace, the crowd is smiling again. And they’ll push on Saturday. A win would leapfrog Everton, could even drag them into seventh if other results fall their way, and keep London a nightmare for visitors.
Everton: rock-steady on the road
If Fulham have the crowd, Everton have a tight defence. David Moyes’ side boast one of the best away records in the league: five wins, three draws, four defeats from twelve trips. One stat jumps out — just eleven goals conceded on the road. Only Arsenal have done better. Since December’s loss at Chelsea, the Toffees haven’t been beaten away. Three clean sheets, tough draws at Burnley and Brighton, tidy wins over Forest and Aston Villa. Not flashy. Rarely pretty. But brutally effective.
The issue is goals. Only eleven scored away, barely more than Sunderland and Wolves. Everton don’t travel to entertain. They shut up shop, nick chances, and try to leave with something. And there’s extra motivation — Marco Silva, the former boss of the blues, stands opposite. Moyes and his lads wouldn’t mind making life awkward for their old manager.

Football Prediction Fulham vs Everton
Both teams to score
Everton will come to not lose. Compact block, stop-start tempo, quick transitions. Fulham, fired up by the crowd and smarting from Old Trafford, have the tools to break them down. The Toffees know how to grind out points. Enough to picture a tight game, maybe a draw, with goals at both ends.

A quick word on our tips
- What we publish on Mathodds are analyses, nothing more. We share an opinion, a snapshot of the moment, never a guarantee. Sport stays what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak goal… and the story changes completely.
- Let’s be clear: there is no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when something looks “obvious”, it might not be. Yes, you can lose. It’s inevitable at some point.
- Best practice is to stay sensible. Stake small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need for living. And don’t chase losses — it seldom ends well.
- Betting should be a game, not a job or a source of income. If it’s taking over your life, step back. If needed, speak to a specialist. That’s what they’re there for.
- Ultimately, responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means you accept the risk exists and won’t disappear, even with the best analysis.
- Important reminder: betting is forbidden for minors and must comply with the laws where you live. Gambling can spiral (financial loss, family tensions, addiction). Need help? Call 09 74 75 13 13 (non-premium call) • https://www.gambleaware.org/.

Things change
A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. But a lineup can change, a player can get injured, the weather can turn… and the analysis can quickly be out of date. We can’t be held responsible for that.
