Milwaukee Bucks – New Orleans Pelicans: clash of duds
First of two meetings this season between the Bucks and Pelicans — two teams that look like they’ve checked out of the race already and might be reshuffled by trades any day now. Not the most appetizing matchup on paper, sure, but it’s the NBA: anyone can explode for a random vintage night and ruin the script.
Milwaukee Bucks: can they ride a short home streak?
Even with trade talk still circling the franchise — all eyes on Giannis Antetokounmpo and how his status could spark more moves — the Bucks did what they had to in their last game, steamrolling the Bulls 131-115. The next two games, against the Pelicans and the Pacers, give them a rare chance to notch three straight wins for the first time this season.
To pull that off they’ll need to make the offense work without Giannis. The Bucks average just 111.5 points — the fourth-worst mark in the league — so guys like Ryan Rollins and Kyle Kuzma have to step up hard. Put simply: they need shots and they need them now, even against a shaky Pelicans side.

New Orleans Pelicans: second-to-last game of the road trip
New Orleans arrives on the back of two defeats, dropping games to the Sixers (114-124) and the Hornets (95-102). Not blowouts, but matches lost in the little moments — the sort of margins that define this season for the Pelicans: flashes of being able to hang with anyone, and a maddening inability to stay steady on either end.
This one is a decent chance to snap the skid. They’re 21st in offense (114.0) and 28th in defense (120.6), but they’ll be as healthy as they can be — only Dejounte Murray is out as he continues his recovery from last season’s Achilles tear.

NBA Prediction Milwaukee Bucks vs New Orleans Pelicans
Pelicans to win
The Pelicans have pulled off a few eye-catching wins lately — the Spurs 104-95 was one — and they’ve stayed in most games long enough to make things uncomfortable. The Bucks, meanwhile, look more broken than their record suggests. With Zion Williamson and Trey Murphy III, New Orleans has the kind of offensive talent the Bucks simply don’t have, and that should tilt this one in NOLA’s favor.

First, a word on our tips
- What we publish on Mathodds is analysis, not promises. It’s an opinion, a snapshot of the situation — not a guarantee. Sport is unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak play… and the whole picture changes.
- Let’s be blunt: no bet is risk-free. Even when something looks “obvious”, it’s not. Yes, that means you can lose. It will happen at some point.
- Be sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And never chase losses — it never ends well.
- Betting should be entertainment, not a job or a way to make a living. If it’s causing stress or taking over your life, step back. Get help from a specialist if you need to. That’s what they’re there for.
- At the end of the day, the responsibility is yours. Reading our content means you accept the risk, which never goes away, even with the best analysis.
- Important reminder: betting is prohibited for minors and must follow your local laws. Gambling can spiral (money loss, family tensions, addiction). Need help? Players Info Service: 09 74 75 13 13 (standard-rate call) https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No commitment from us

Info can change
A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. Lineups change, players get hurt, weather shifts — and a once-solid analysis can become outdated fast. We can’t be held responsible for that.
Your role
Before you bet, check that gambling is legal where you are. If it isn’t, that’s on you, not us.
