Burnley: a season that’s been one long nightmare 
For Burnley it’s worse. The Clarets haven’t won in 12 Premier League matches, a run that’s left them 19th, eight points off safety. Scott Parker has at least stemmed the bleeding with three draws in the last five, after seven straight defeats. The 2-2 with Manchester United showed some fight, but it’s not enough to expect a real turnaround. Like Liverpool, Burnley found joy in the FA Cup with a 5-1 win over Millwall, but that doesn’t hide the structural problems: no clean sheets away this season, only five wins in all competitions, and six straight Premier League defeats to Liverpool. Heading to Anfield couldn’t come at a worse time.
