Ducks claw back in Calgary
Anaheim trailed 3-1 after one period and won 5-3. Cutter Gauthier settled it with a one-timer from the right faceoff circle with 94 seconds left in regulation, and Nikita Nesterenko added an empty-netter to seal the Ducks’ fourth straight victory.
Calgary came out fast. William Stromgren scored 2:23 in, Jeff Malott answered 27 seconds later, then Joel Hanley and Joel Farabee made it 3-1 before the break. Hanley’s goal was his first since April 5, 2025, a drought of 75 games. Lukas Dostal was pulled after allowing three goals on 11 shots, and Ville Husso stopped all 10 shots he faced in relief.

Streaks keep stacking up in Anaheim
Tristan Luneau cut the gap in the second with a top-corner shot, and Leo Carlsson tied it 55 seconds into the third on the power play. Carlsson finished with a goal and an assist and has 15 points in a seven-game run. Gauthier now has 10 goals in his last five games and 13 points in seven.
Anaheim has scored on the power play in seven straight games and is 5-1-1 in its last seven. Jackson LaCombe, who set up Luneau’s goal, extended his franchise-record assist streak for a defenseman to nine games. The win completed a perfect three-game road trip. Calgary’s Dustin Wolf made 24 saves in defeat.
