It’s rare both the Bears and Packers are firing at the same time, which is why this legendary rivalry had only met in the playoffs twice before — the last time was… 1941. This season flips the script. Both clubs arrive full of confidence, momentum and a perfect read on each other. This isn’t just nostalgia. This is heavyweight combat.
Chicago Bears : youth, cool heads and home-field edge
The Bears finished the regular season a solid 11-6, carried by the emergence of their young offensive core. Caleb Williams has shown ice-cold nerves in pressure moments, and his link-up with DJ Moore has become a pillar of the attack.
The end of the season also saw rookie tight end Colston Loveland break out — two straight games over 90 yards — adding another threat over the middle. Chicago should also get key reinforcements back, with Rome Odunze close to returning and cornerback Kyler Gordon available again, tightening the squad up for the playoffs.
At home, in an electric Soldier Field, the Bears have plenty of reasons to believe they can pull off another statement against their historic rivals.
Green Bay Packers : experience and offensive stability 
Green Bay comes into the playoffs 9-7-1 and, crucially, with good health news. Sitting starters in Week 18 paid off: no major player was missing from midweek practice.
Jordan Love is back after the Week 16 concussion, and Josh Jacobs is off the injury report. Big deal, especially since the Packers’ defense has taken hits this season — including the season-ending loss of Micah Parsons. The offense will have to shoulder a lot of the burden.
Love has been efficient all year, and Green Bay will need his composure and aggression to survive what promises to be a razor-tight game.

Everything points to this being the tightest game of Wild Card Weekend. Chicago has the home crowd and upward momentum, but the extra rest for Green Bay and a fully fit Jordan Love could be the difference.
