Five leagues, one night
Monday, October 26 is about as busy as a North American sports calendar gets. MLB, the NFL, the NBA, the WNBA and the NHL all have games on the same night, a day known in the US as a sports equinox.
According to Sportradar, it is the 33rd one on record and the first since October 27, 2025. It is also the fourth to include women’s professional basketball. All times below are Eastern.

World Series and Monday Night Football
The Rays host the Brewers in Game 3 of the World Series (8:00 p.m.). Milwaukee won the first two games by a run each and leads the best-of-seven series 2-0.
In the NFL, the Eagles face the Cowboys (8:15 p.m.), both 2-4. Philadelphia has lost four straight and is without Jalen Hurts, on injured reserve with blood clots, so Tanner McKee makes his second start of the season. Dallas has won only one of its last four.
NBA, WNBA and NHL
The marquee NBA game puts Stephen Curry and the Warriors in Denver against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets (10:00 p.m.). Earlier, Dallas visits Miami (7:30 p.m.), with Cooper Flagg’s return from injury and Kyrie Irving’s health the questions to watch.
In the WNBA Finals, Golden State hosts Angel Reese and Atlanta in Game 5 (8:00 p.m.) with the series tied 2-2. It is the league’s first night competing with all four other leagues since 2000.
In the NHL, the Rangers host Artemi Panarin and the Kings, with Panarin a former New York star (7:00 p.m.). In Edmonton, Leon Draisaitl can become the first NHL player born outside North America to score at least two goals in four straight games, as Connor McDavid’s Oilers host Detroit (9:30 p.m.).
