NFL: Jaguars lose Anton Harrison for year with torn ACL

The hoped-for return is gone

Jacksonville’s offensive line takes another hit. Left tackle Anton Harrison is out for the rest of the 2026 season with a torn right ACL, NFL Network reported Friday. The news arrived a day after he had arthroscopic knee surgery.

Harrison got hurt blocking on a running play in the Jaguars’ Oct. 11 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in London. The team put him on injured reserve two days later.

A young starter with a long track record

Harrison is 24 and has 53 starts since Jacksonville picked him 27th overall in the 2023 draft. He lined up at right tackle for the past three seasons before moving to the left side ahead of this year. The Jaguars had already picked up his fifth-year option for 2027, so the contract picture is settled even if the season is not.

Who steps in

The 4-2 Jaguars are on a bye this week and host the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8. Veteran Walker Little is expected to make his second straight start at left tackle in that game.
