Jagiellonia Bialystok vs Anderlecht – Free Europa League Prediction – 22/10/2026

Jagiellonia Bialystok vs Anderlecht: two sides beaten on Saturday meet in Bialystok Europa League

Anderlecht were knocked out of the Belgian Cup on Saturday, beaten 2-1 away at Beerschot. It was their second defeat in four days, after a 1-0 loss at Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.

Jagiellonia lost on Saturday too, 1-0 at Zagłębie Lubin. That made it three straight Ekstraklasa defeats, following 3-1 home losses to Legia on 20 September and Górnik Zabrze on 10 October.

Their one recent win came in Europe. Jagiellonia beat Ararat-Armenia 3-1 at home last Thursday after going a goal down on 11 minutes, with Jóźwiak, Rodrigo Conceição and Ousmane Sow scoring.

Anderlecht are still without a point in the league phase, having also lost 2-1 at home to Lyon on matchday one. Jagiellonia have three.

Thursday’s game at the Chorten Arena in Białystok kicks off at 8pm UK time, and we found no record of a previous meeting between the clubs.

Anderlecht are 2.20 to win, the draw 3.40 and Jagiellonia 3.00. Both teams to score is 1.62 and over 2.5 goals 1.73, and neither defence has given us much reason to expect a clean sheet.

Jagiellonia Bialystok: three league defeats running and seven goals conceded in them Jagiellonia Bialystok

Jagiellonia are 12th in the Ekstraklasa with 12 points from ten games: four wins, six defeats, no draws and a goal difference of minus four.

They’ve scored in four of their last five competitive games. The exception was Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Zagłębie.

At home they’ve conceded three to Legia and three to Górnik in the league, and one to Ararat in Europe, which means seven goals against in their last three games at the Chorten Arena.

Jesús Imaz has two goals and three assists in the Europa League this season, two of the assists coming against Ararat. Kajetan Szmyt has two European goals, one of them the opener in the 2-1 defeat at Olympiacos on 16 September, where Roman Yaremchuk scored a late winner.

Nik Prelec, who has three league goals, has been reported out for several weeks with ankle ligament damage, and Norbert Wojtuszek is also listed as injured.

Against Ararat they played a 4-3-3 with Abramowicz in goal, Kobayashi, Bernardo Vital, Romanczuk and Wdowik across the back, Klynge, Imaz and Szmyt in midfield and Conceição, Sow and Jóźwiak in attack.

Anderlecht: one goal in two European games and out of the cup Anderlecht

Vítor Bruno’s side are fifth in the Jupiler Pro League with 16 points from eight games, six behind leaders Gent. They’ve scored nine and conceded six in those eight matches.

Their one European goal so far came from Mihajlo Cvetković in the 2-1 defeat to Lyon on 16 September. Both Lyon goals that night were deflected, and both came in the first half.

Cvetković has four European goals this season including qualifying, and Danylo Sikan has five. In the league, Tawfik Bentayeb leads the scoring with three, ahead of Adriano Bertaccini and Marten Winkler on two each.

Before the last two defeats, Anderlecht won 2-1 at Cercle Brugge on 10 October and beat Zulte Waregem 3-0 on 19 September.

We found no confirmed injury news ahead of the trip. Sikan and Bentayeb are both priced at 3.00 to score at any time, with Cvetković at 3.10.

Probable lineup Jagiellonia Bialystok: Abramowicz; Kobayashi, Bernardo Vital, Romanczuk, Wdowik; Klynge, Imaz, Szmyt; Conceição, Sow, Jóźwiak
Probable lineup Anderlecht: Not announced at time of publication

Free Europa League Prediction: Jagiellonia Bialystok vs Anderlecht

Our prediction: Both teams to score: Yes (1.62)

We’re backing both sides to score, at 1.62. Jagiellonia have scored in four of their last five games and have conceded seven in their last three at home. Anderlecht have scored in four of their last five, and the strikers’ prices of around 3.00 each to score suggest the bookmakers expect them to find the net in Białystok.

Anderlecht’s European record is the weak spot in the pick: one goal in two games, and none at Dinamo Zagreb. They did score in both domestic games either side of that defeat, though, and Jagiellonia’s defence has given up three goals in two of its last three home matches.

Imaz and Szmyt have four European goals between them, and Jagiellonia scored three against Ararat even after falling behind. With both teams losing on Saturday and neither keeping clean sheets at the moment, BTTS Yes at 1.62 is the pick.

About our free predictions

  • What we publish on MathOdds are analyses, nothing more. We share a view, a reading of the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport remains what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a last-minute goal, and the script changes completely.
  • Let’s be clear: there is no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when it looks “obvious”, nothing ever is. And yes, that means you can lose. It’s even inevitable at some point.
  • The smartest approach is to stay reasonable. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Never use money you need to live on. And above all: don’t chase your losses: that rarely ends well.
  • A bet should remain a game, not a job or a source of income. If it starts taking up too much space in your daily life, causes stress or frustration, take a break. And if needed, talk to a support organisation: that’s what they’re there for.
  • Ultimately, responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and will never disappear, no matter how good the analysis.
  • Essential reminder: gambling is prohibited for minors and must comply with the laws of your country. Need help? Visit begambleaware.org.

No commitment from us

Information changes

A prediction is always based on what we know at the time of writing. But between publication and kick-off, a lineup can change, a player picks up an injury, the weather turns, and the analysis can quickly be outdated. We cannot be held responsible for that.

Your responsibility

Before placing a bet, simply check that gambling is legal in your country. If it isn’t, that’s your responsibility, not ours.

Responsible gambling

We can’t say it enough: gamble responsibly. If you’re struggling to stay in control, don’t wait to seek help.
