The Sacramento Kings are an NBA franchise based in Sacramento, one of the oldest in the league with roots dating back to 1923. The Kings NBA have a long and eventful history, marked by several relocations before permanently settling in California.
The franchise's modern golden age came in the early 2000s, with a spectacular team led by Chris Webber, Mike Bibby and Peja Stojaković. The Kings reached the Western Conference Finals in 2002 in a series that became legendary against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Kings play at the Golden 1 Center, a modern arena in the heart of Sacramento, known for its electric atmosphere. After a long rebuilding period, the Kings have recently rediscovered a strong identity built on fast and offensive basketball.
Today, the Kings NBA are looking to consolidate their return to the forefront and become a regular presence in the playoffs once again.
