BIOGRAPHY
A key member of Ajax's squad, Y. Baas has been an important figure in the Eredivisie this season. A Netherlands international, he brings his national footballing culture and technical pedigree to every match. His profile as a defender is enhanced by his dimensions — 182 cm tall and 71 kg — ideal for the professional game. His positional sense and reading of the game allow him to intervene at the right moment without unnecessary risk. Shaped by stints at Ajax U19, Jong Ajax, NEC Nijmegen and beyond, he brings a wealth of footballing experience to Ajax's dressing room. The silverware in his career — notably Eredivisie — confirms his ability to perform in the biggest moments. Throughout the 2025/2026 season, he has continued to affirm himself as a key member of Ajax's group. Y. Baas continues to write his story in professional football, one performance at a time.
