BIOGRAPHY
A regular presence in Lens's squad, N. Äelik has made his mark in the Ligue 1 through consistent performances. His Bosnia and Herzegovina roots have shaped his footballing identity, blending physicality with technical quality. His work as a defender goes beyond what the statistics show — he contributes to the team's balance in ways that are highly valued. Whether in the air or on the ground, he remains competitive and difficult to get past for opposing attacks. Over the course of his career, he has represented several clubs — FK Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina U17, Sarajevo U19 — each step adding depth to his footballing education. Throughout the 2025/2026 season, he has continued to affirm himself as a key member of Lens's group. His well-rounded profile and accumulated experience make him one of the most important assets in Lens's squad.
