Paris FC – Le Havre: a fear-driven scrap at Jean-Bouin Stadium
This Sunday Jean-Bouin hosts a high-tension clash between two bottom-half sides. Paris FC (13th) and Le Havre (14th) are split by a single point. Nerves are raw. Both teams are desperate to pull clear of the dreaded end-of-season scrap.
Paris FC fires back
No more long faces in the capital. Since the arrival of the fiery Antoine Kombouaré in February, Paris FC have brightened up and built a nine-point cushion above the drop zone. Hard to break down, the hosts nicked a decent 0-0 at Strasbourg and had a late penalty snatched from them (96th) against Lyon.
They finally tasted a home win again, beating Nice 1-0 earlier this month — their first at Jean-Bouin since October. They’re steadier at the back and won’t accept another slip-up in front of their fans. The plan is blunt: control the game, crank up the tempo and bury the goals needed to claim a second straight win at Jean-Bouin.
Le Havre refuse to sink
In Normandy the long-standing club have just stemmed the bleeding. After three straight defeats that had supporters worried, Didier Digard’s side scraped a precious 0-0 with Lyon. They were down to ten men for the whole second half after Dan-Axel Zagadou’s red. It was a huge relief for a squad that had started doubting itself.
The big issue for HAC is away form. They leak on the road — just two points from their last seven league trips. Only one away goal in that stretch; the attack is starving. To escape trouble and pull off a proper heist in the capital, the Normans must shut up shop and be ruthlessly clinical on the counter.
Probable line-ups
Paris FC : Trapp ; De Smet, Coppola, Mbow, Camara ; Lees-Melou, Munetsi, Matondo ; Simon, Ikone, Immobile
Le Havre : Diaw ; Leko, Sangante, Kechta, Koffi ; Seko, Gourna-Douath, Ndiaye, Boufal ; Samatta, Soumare
Football Prediction Paris FC vs Le Havre
Both teams to score
Even though recent meetings between these two often finish as tight, goalless affairs, the current trends and the pressure for points could blow this one open.
Kombouaré’s Paris FC are much more adventurous at home and will hunt the win. Le Havre are up against it and know sitting back won’t save them given their chronic fragility on the road. Expect a tense game — but one where the net finally rattles at both ends, attacks edging out the nerves.

First, a word on our predictions
- What we publish on Mathodds are analyses, nothing more. We offer an opinion, a snapshot of the moment, never a guarantee. Sport is unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak goal… and the whole script flips.
- Let’s be clear: there’s no bet without risk. Even when something looks “obvious”, nothing is certain. And yes, you can lose. It’s inevitable at some point.
- Best practice is to stay sensible. Stake small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And don’t chase losses — it rarely ends well.
- Betting should stay a game, not a job or a source of income. If it takes over your life, makes you anxious or puts you under pressure, take a break. If needed, speak to a specialist organisation. That’s what they’re there for.
- In the end, responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and won’t disappear, even with the best analysis in the world.
- Important reminder: gambling is forbidden to minors and must comply with your country’s laws. Betting can spiral (money loss, family tensions, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No promises from us
Our predictions aren’t a contract. They carry no legal weight. In short: you can’t rely on them to make a claim if a bet loses.
Information can change
A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. Lineups change, players get injured, weather turns… and the analysis can go out of date fast. We can’t be held liable for that.
