The goals
The breakthrough came early. Ousmane Dembele scored in the 3rd minute, turning in a cross from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. That goal stretched Paris’s advantage across the tie.
Bayern Munich levelled deep into stoppage time. Harry Kane struck in the 94th minute. There was simply not enough time left to change the outcome. Defensive shape and the goalkeepers
Coach Luis Enrique set his team up with a defensive tactical plan. Keeper Matvei Safonov made an important save in the 44th minute to deny Jamal Musiala. The German side struggled to hit the target for long spells.
PSG made the most of the space on the break. Manuel Neuer kept out several Paris chances in the second half. Desire Doue went close in the 56th, 64th, 72nd and 76th minutes without finding the net. The Bayern keeper also stopped a Bradley Barcola effort in the 88th minute. The score stayed locked at 1-1.
