Marshall sets a career high, Arkansas cruises
Arkansas beat Tulsa 34-6 on Saturday, and Chris Marshall did most of the damage. The receiver caught nine passes for 195 yards, a career high, and hauled in a 20-yard touchdown. He already had six catches for 136 yards by halftime, giving quarterback KJ Jackson a reliable target every time Arkansas needed a chain-mover.
Jackson completed 24 of 36 passes for 309 yards and a touchdown, and he added a 10-yard rushing score of his own. He threw one interception, the only real blemish on an otherwise clean night through the air. Kicker Max Gilbert made four field goals, from 23, 35, 28 and 38 yards, padding the margin every time the offense stalled in the red zone.

Tulsa’s offense never found room to operate
Arkansas controlled the clock and the line of scrimmage from the opening snap. The Razorbacks held the ball for 18:01 in the first half alone and held Tulsa to just 56 yards of total offense over that same stretch. Golden Hurricane quarterback Dexter Williams II finished 20 of 32 for 176 yards but managed only 46 yards on 9-of-12 passing before the break. Running back Damari Alston scored Tulsa’s only touchdown on a 1-yard run.
Discipline hurt Tulsa as much as the scoreboard did. The Golden Hurricane picked up 39 penalty yards on six infractions in the first half alone, killing drives before Arkansas’ defense even had to make a stop.
Twenty straight and counting
The win extends Arkansas’ streak over Tulsa to 20 consecutive victories, a run that stretches back to 1976. Arkansas moves to 2-2 on the season, while Tulsa falls to 3-1 after its best start in years hit a wall against a Power Four defense that dictated terms from the first drive to the last.
