One more name on the rejection pile
Another no. Jadon Sancho has been hunting for a club since his loan at Aston Villa ended. Manchester United are done with him, his contract is up. Aston Villa are done too. Palmeiras had already said no a few weeks ago. This time, it is Krasnodar who have shut the door.
The Russian league leaders had apparently received a serious offer. According to reports from Russian outlet Championat, relayed by Foot Mercato, the English winger was keen on the move. Krasnodar, though, knocked it back.

A slide that raises questions
Five years ago, Sancho was worth more than 100 million euros on the market. He was tipped as one of the best wingers in the world, chased by Europe’s biggest clubs. Today, at 26, he cannot even find a buyer in a league that may not be the biggest but is still a serious, ambitious project in eastern Europe.
His spell at Manchester United, marked by repeated clashes with the sporting hierarchy and enforced exits to Borussia Dortmund and then Chelsea, has left its mark. Last season’s loan to Aston Villa was not enough to get a career back on track.
A future getting harder to read
Out of work since the summer, Sancho is finding the options drying up week by week. The transfer window is still open in some leagues, but every rejection makes an already shaky situation a little worse. For a player who has featured on some of the biggest stages in English and European football, the decline is as worrying as it is baffling.
