Bottom of the seventh at Oracle Park. One out. Walker Jenkins turns on a fastball and drives it out to left. Minnesota goes up 3-1 and the Giants never recover. Final score: Twins 3, Giants 2.
Jenkins’ homer, his fourth of the year, landed at the exact moment San Francisco had clawed back within a run. Momentum swung on one pitch. The Twins held it the rest of the way.

Bradley grinds, Keaschall covers the outfield
Taj Bradley went six innings and gave up just one run, a squeeze bunt off Drew Cavanaugh’s bat in the second. Six strikeouts, three walks, twelfth win of the season. Four relievers closed out the six-hit performance from there.
Luke Keaschall did damage on both sides of the ball. He tripled in the sixth to bring home Ryan Kreidler, part of a two-run inning that put Minnesota ahead for good after Brooks Lee lined a go-ahead single off Anthony Molina. Molina took the loss, his third, after allowing two runs on four hits in six innings. Keaschall’s night didn’t stop there. He robbed Osleivis Basabe and Turner Hill of extra-base hits with a pair of diving catches in right field, the kind of defense that keeps a two-run cushion from shrinking.
Hoffman freezes the ninth
Jeff Hoffman walked into a bases-loaded jam in the ninth and walked out with his sixth save, striking out Victor Bericoto looking to end it. Minnesota moves to 74-84 on the year. San Francisco falls to 65-93, still hunting for answers as the season winds down and the roster auditions its next wave for 2027.
