A brutal draw for the debutants
Paris FC didn’t get an easy welcome. Back in the Women’s Champions League group stage for the first time in the club’s history, they open against FC Barcelona, arguably the toughest name they could have drawn. Kick-off comes at 21:00 Paris time, at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, Barcelona’s usual venue for European nights and a ground that holds roughly 6,000 fans.
The competition looks different this season. Eighteen clubs sit in one combined table, each playing six league-phase matches, before the top four go straight to the quarterfinals and the rest fight it out in the play-offs. Barcelona’s resume needs no introduction: European champions in 2021, 2023 and 2024, runners-up to Arsenal in 2025. Paris FC arrive on the back of a strong domestic season and now face six different opponents before autumn is out, chasing whatever points they can steal from the group’s bigger names.

Good news for fans without a subscription. L’Equipe is showing the match live and free, on TNT channel 21 and through its streaming platform, with the L’Equipe smartphone app offering another way to follow along on the move. Disney+, the official Women’s Champions League broadcaster in France, also carries the game for subscribers across computer, mobile and smart TV.
