Red Bull make it official
Isack Hadjar gets his seat back this week. Red Bull confirmed on Tuesday that the Frenchman returns for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, three races after injuring his left wrist.
Hadjar missed the Dutch, Italian and Spanish Grands Prix. The wrist simply wasn’t ready to absorb the vibrations of an F1 cockpit, and the team chose to wait rather than rush him back too soon.

Lawson heads back to Racing Bulls
Liam Lawson’s loan spell is over. The New Zealander, who filled in at Red Bull during Hadjar’s absence, returns to Racing Bulls from Baku onward. Three races alongside Max Verstappen, and not much separated him from simply doing the job asked of him.
For Hadjar, this is about more than just getting back in the car. He sat eighth in the championship before the injury, the best position of his young career. Every missed weekend costs real ground in a standings table where a handful of points separates sixth from tenth.

Baku suits his strengths
The calendar breaks his way, almost. The Baku street circuit rewards precision over raw power, and Hadjar had already shown a knack for that before the injury.
The open question is how his body holds up. A simulator session can’t fully replicate 190 miles of racing, especially on a track this punishing on the wrists.
