Eighty seats gone from Auteuil, permanently
Eighty. That is how many members Parias Cohortis counts, and none of them will be getting back into the Parc des Princes. Paris Saint-Germain have stripped the Collectif Ultras Paris section of its access to the Auteuil stand and barred it from travelling with the team.
There is no appeal built into this one. It closes a file opened last season after violence broke out between Paris supporters on the trip to Angers. The group had already been kept out of the stands since then, but the door had never quite been bolted.

Conditions the club set, and a deadline that passed
PSG had put terms on the table. Cut loose the members involved in the Angers trouble. Move to a different position inside Auteuil. Meet both, and the section could come back.
A source close to the case, quoted by AFP, says the group did not satisfy that condition inside the window the club gave them. Le Parisien, which broke the story, reports that PSG have restated their line on violence of any kind. The door is now shut.
What it changes in the corner
Auteuil is still where the noise comes from. Collectif Ultras Paris have set the tone there on match nights since they were allowed back in 2016, and removing eighty places from one section will not silence the stand. The message is pointed at rather more people than that.
The timing is not accidental either. Ligue 1 is piling up disciplinary files at the moment, with another opened over the homophobic chanting heard during Le Classique against OM.
