One substitution, and a long night in Paris
Paris Saint-Germain won 1-0 at Brest on Sunday night. Their first league win of the season. The evening still left a mark, because Achraf Hakimi came off during the game with discomfort in the back of his right thigh.
Luis Enrique had nothing concrete at the press conference. He did not know how bad it was. Tests were booked for the squad’s return to Paris, and the uncertainty ran through the night and most of Monday.
The medical bulletin landed in the afternoon. “After suffering a slight injury to his right thigh in the match against Brest last night, Achraf Hakimi will receive treatment over the next two days. Another medical update will follow at the end of that period,” PSG said on their official site.

The word “slight” is doing a lot of work
A low-grade muscle injury gets counted in days, not weeks. Nobody at the club has used the word setback. The language is treatment, then another check-up inside 48 hours.
The fixture list explains the caution. Olympique de Marseille are next in Ligue 1’s Le Classique, and Hakimi is a load-bearing piece of Luis Enrique’s system, capable of holding the right flank or tucking inside when the shape changes. Rule him out and the Spaniard has to rebuild his entire right side days before a match that has never needed help finding tension.
