A first half to forget at the Olimpico
AC Milan spent 45 minutes chasing shadows. Lazio struck early through Cancellieri in the 10th minute, then kept finding the space in behind a Milan back line that looked all at sea.
Mike Maignan kept them in it at first, denying Zaccagni in the 21st minute. But the French keeper was eventually beaten by Noslin in the 39th, and Ruben Amorim’s men went into the break 2-0 down without ever really troubling the home side.

Two minutes, two shots, two goals
Amorim ripped up his plan at half-time. The introduction of Diego Moreira changed everything. Signed in the summer, the Portuguese forward drilled in two goals after the hour mark, just two minutes apart. 2-2.
The turnaround stunned the Olimpico. Lazio never quite regained control, and Milan left Rome with a point they had not earned by the interval. For Moreira, it was another sign that his Italian adventure is already paying off.
Milan keep leaking points
The result still raises questions. A week after the 1-1 draw with Juventus, Milan have dropped another two points. The Rossoneri are still too soft in the final third and too easy to rattle when opponents up the tempo.
After four rounds, Lazio sit top of the table, at least for now. Milan are fourth. The gap is hardly fatal this early in the season, but Amorim knows a bench that can summon a Moreira won’t save them every weekend.
