Six minutes that flipped Stamford Bridge
Twenty-eighth minute, Ryan Giles whips one in, Mohamed Belloumi finishes. Thirty-fourth minute, Oliver McBurnie plays him in, Belloumi finishes again. A newly promoted side led Chelsea at the break in west London.
Nobody had that written down beforehand. Chelsea were in front inside seven minutes, Morgan Rogers converting a Joao Pedro pass, and the afternoon looked set to follow the obvious script. Hull City had not read it.
The half-time numbers were bleak reading for the Blues: 66% of the ball, three shots, seven corners, two goals conceded from five Hull attempts. Joao Pedro levelled it in the 66th. Chelsea pushed hard for the third. It never came.

Four games up, still unbeaten
Hull came up this summer. Four matches into life in the Premier League, the Yorkshire club has not lost yet.
This was no smash-and-grab either. Seven points from the opening three fixtures, two wins and a 0-0 with Aston Villa at the MKM Stadium, and not a goal conceded in the lot. Belloumi and McBurnie have since given the attack teeth to go with it.
Now add a point at Stamford Bridge, taken after leading at the interval. Four games is a small sample. It is starting to look like more than luck.
Two points from six, and the questions start
For Chelsea this is getting awkward. Beaten 2-1 at Arsenal last weekend, held at home by a promoted side today. Two points from a possible six, and a season opening that bears little resemblance to the one sold to supporters in August.
Possession counts for nothing when it goes nowhere. Three shots in 45 minutes with two thirds of the ball is the sort of line that gets managers sacked.
There is more football to come today. Sunderland host Arsenal tonight, Tottenham welcome Everton. Hull City can look at the table and feel pretty good about it.
