That is Mirra Andreeva’s record against Coco Gauff. The 19-year-old, ranked fifth in the world, had to grind through three sets and come back against Anastasia Potapova just to get this far.
Gauff has had an easier time of it. The world No. 4 has not lost a set since the opening round and needed 80 minutes to get past Iva Jovic.
They go on second in the day session on Arthur Ashe Stadium on Wednesday 9 September. Rybakina and Zheng Qinwen open things at 11:30 a.m. ET, with Gauff and Andreeva following no earlier than 12:30 p.m. Day sessions run on match length, not on a clock, so a long first one pushes everything back.

One broadcaster, and it is not a free one
Eurosport holds the US Open rights in France and nothing moves to free-to-air at any point, semi-finals and final included. From the quarter-finals the coverage narrows to Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2.
The 360 channels that carried 16 courts at once in week one have been retired for this stage. Streaming comes down to two routes: HBO Max with the Sport add-on, or the Canal+ app if you subscribe to Canal+ Sport.
