Some nights, the scoreline barely matters.
On Saturday night, Al-Nassr lost away at Al-Ittihad (2-1). Their first defeat of the season. And yet the clip that went viral had nothing to do with the goals.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner couldn’t help himself. He read it, smiled and exchanged a few words with his compatriot. The pair ended up laughing about it before getting back to work.
It makes sense, really, given their history. Years together in the Selecao shirt. And, above all, Euro 2016, won side by side.
This was no act of provocation. More a dressing-room moment spilling onto the pitch, between two players who have nothing left to prove to each other.
The rest of the night was less of a laugh
For Al-Nassr, that was about the only bright spot. The Riyadh club had made a clean start to the season. Their unbeaten run was ended in Jeddah.
Ronaldo, at least, got a look at what the opposition had planned. It didn’t change the result.
