Super League: PAOK table an offer for Jagiellonia keeper Abramowicz

An offer lands in Bialystok

Twenty-two years old, first-choice in the Ekstraklasa, and now wanted in Greece. PAOK Thessaloniki have moved for Slawomir Abramowicz. Foot Mercato report that the Greek club have lodged an offer for the Poland goalkeeper, who remains under contract at Jagiellonia Bialystok.

Several European clubs had already been circling him before this. The bid from Thessaloniki is not the first attempt to prise him out of Bialystok this year, and it may not be the last.

The calendar is on PAOK’s side

Greece is still trading. That leaves PAOK a handful of days to force the deal through while most of Europe’s major leagues have already closed their windows and moved on.

Money is the problem. Jagiellonia have put a steep valuation on their keeper, per the same source, and talks are expected to run on over the coming days.

Nothing signed

Neither club has said anything publicly. An offer sits on the table in Poland, and the answer to it has not arrived yet.
