A knee, and everything stops
No club pushed Antoine Kombouare out. A joint did.
The 62-year-old needed surgery on the knee. He said it plainly on RMC: “From January, I’m available!”
His Paris FC contract ran to 2027. He had turned the second half of the season around. He wanted to keep going.

Kombouare wants Ligue 1. He wants something else as well. “I’ve always said I’d like to manage a national team and go to a World Cup. I’ve had contact, I’ve had meetings. I’ve always turned it down because I love club football. But I keep an eye on it.”
The former Valenciennes, Strasbourg, Lens and PSG manager has made his position public. January is close.
