US Open: Zverev v Tabilo, start time and where to watch the night session

Four hours 33 minutes of tennis already banked

Alexander Zverev has taken the scenic route to the US Open third round. Five sets against Lorenzo Sonego. Five more against Quentin Halys. That is 4 hours and 33 minutes on court before he has even reached the business end of the draw, and now the top seed, this year’s Roland-Garros champion, runs into Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo, seeded 25th.

Arthur Ashe Stadium hosts them in the night session. Play starts at 7:00pm ET on Saturday 5 September, which is 1:00am French time in the early hours of Sunday 6 September. Two matches are scheduled, with Iva Jovic against Alexandra Eala going on first, so Zverev will not walk out until that one is settled. Expect a late one.
