Barcelona away, and five more
Arsenal will play Barcelona in the league phase of the 2026/27 Women’s Champions League. The draw was made earlier today, and the Gunners came out of it with the reigning champions on the schedule, away from home.
The rest of the six matchdays: OL Lyonnes at home, Benfica at home, Paris FC away, HB Koge at home and Inter Milan away. Arsenal reached the semi-finals last season and now open a campaign whose fixture list contains the two clubs that have shaped this competition for the best part of a decade.

Chelsea and City both land PSG
Chelsea drew Paris Saint-Germain at home, OL Lyonnes away, Roma at home, BK Hacken away, Austria Wien at home and OH Leuven away. Two French sides inside six games is a heavy start.
Manchester City return to the competition for the first time since 2024/25 and arguably got the roughest of the three English draws. PSG at home, Bayern Munich away, Real Madrid at home, BK Hacken away, Austria Wien at home, Inter Milan away. Three of the biggest names in European women’s football, packed into six fixtures, in a season where City are trying to prove they belong back at this level.
PSG, BK Hacken and Austria Wien all appear on both English schedules, so Chelsea and City will spend the autumn travelling much the same road. Inter Milan turn up for Arsenal and City alike.
The calendar
League phase football starts on September 22 and 23 and runs through to December 16. Six games, one table, and the same structure that reshaped the men’s competition before it arrived here.
Arsenal’s trip to Barcelona is the fixture everybody will circle. It is also the one that will tell them most about where they actually stand.
