Sevilla seal a loan deal
Sevilla have reached an agreement with Lille to take Felix Correia on loan. The story comes from El Chiringuito, which does not say whether there is an option to buy. The 25-year-old Portuguese left-back is heading out of northern France for now, barely a year after arriving there.
The reason is there in the team sheet. Correia has been blocked by Romain Perraud and Calvin Verdonk, both ahead of him in Lille’s left-sided pecking order. There is no room for a third wheel.

Sevilla shop in France
This is not a one-off. A few hours earlier, the Andalusian club were pushing to land Lucas Stassin, the ASSE striker. Two players from the French top flight in the same day, just hours before the window shuts.
Sevilla have long cast their net in South America and Portugal. France has become a more accessible market for a club that has to live within La Liga’s salary rules.
Lille wrap up a busy end to the window
Lille are not hanging about either. Ayase Ueda has signed through 2028, a 60 million euro deal has been agreed with Newcastle for Matias Fernandez-Pardo, and Maurits Kjaergaard is being linked with a move in.
Correia is off in search of the minutes he no longer had. The window closes on Tuesday night.
