A loan sealed at dawn
Strasbourg have got their striker. The club confirmed on Tuesday morning the arrival of Conrad Harder, 21, on loan from RB Leipzig until the end of the 2026-2027 season.
The statement was brief. “Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace are delighted to announce the arrival of Conrad Harder. The Danish striker joins on loan from RB Leipzig until the end of the 2026-2027 season.” No fee was disclosed, and no option to buy was mentioned.
The Dane had been linked with several clubs in recent days, in Germany and in England. Strasbourg were not the name most often mentioned.

Leipzig reshuffle their attack in a morning
The move says plenty about RB Leipzig’s day. Half an hour after the Alsace club’s statement, the German side announced the arrival of Marc Guiu, bought from Chelsea for around 17 million euros and handed the No 9 shirt. A 20-year-old striker goes in, a 21-year-old striker goes out.
For Harder, the logic is clear. More minutes, instead of another season on the bench. Strasbourg, one of the youngest squads in the division, look like the sort of club where a centre-forward of his age can start week after week rather than live off cameos.
A two-way day in Alsace
Strasbourg are not just buying. Gueala Doue has headed to Germany for a medical and a move to Bayer Leverkusen. Mathis Amougou is leaving on loan to Toulouse FC. Three moves in a few hours, incoming and outgoing.
The window closes on Tuesday night. Strasbourg may not be done yet.
