Left foot, inside the post, whistle
Seven minutes of stoppage time had been signalled. Logan Farrington used the last of them, striking left-footed inside the right-hand post to make it 3-3 on Sunday night in St. Louis.
FC Dallas had no business taking anything from the game. They took a point anyway.
St. Louis City led 3-1 with 26 minutes to play. Sebastien Ibeagha headed in Joaquin Valiente’s cross in the 81st to change the temperature, and Petar Musa then found Farrington unmarked on the left edge of the box for his seventh of the season.

Three minutes in, the hosts were already ahead
St. Louis went long from the first whistle. A ball over the top, a first-time touch on the edge of the area, Simon Becher shielding his marker before turning and driving a right-footed effort inside the left post. Three minutes gone, his sixth of the campaign.
Shaq Moore answered in the 18th. His shot deflected off Jaziel Orozco and looped into the top right corner, a first goal of the year for the American full-back.
The hosts restored the lead before half-time when Jonathan Sirois pushed out a Becher shot and Daniel Edelman got there first, steering the rebound in with his left. Carlo Holse then tapped into an empty net in the 64th from Conrad Wallem’s cross, a month after joining from Samsunspor.
Twelve without defeat, and it still felt like a loss
St. Louis have now gone 12 matches unbeaten, a club record and the longest active streak in MLS this season, made up of 8 wins and 4 draws. Roman Burki made four saves. None of it mattered at the end.
Dallas were on the road for a ninth consecutive league fixture, a run that has brought 4 wins, 2 defeats and 3 draws. Sirois needed only two saves.
Both clubs now sit on 34 points with matching records of 9 wins, 6 defeats and 7 draws, tied with San Jose in fourth in the West.
