Ninety-three minutes gone, and Orlando still had one left
Antoine Griezmann looked up and hit it long. Tyrese Spicer took it down at the top left corner of the box, opened his body and struck left-footed inside the near post. Ninety-third minute. Orlando City 3, Minnesota United 3.
The Lions had no business being level. Minnesota outshot them 20-6 across the night in Saint Paul and 10-1 in the opening 45 minutes alone, including 4-1 on target. Maxime Crepeau made four of his five saves before the break, which is the only reason Orlando went in ahead at all.
Daryl Dike had given them that lead in the 28th minute, a spinning right-footed finish from the right side of the six-yard box, against the run of absolutely everything.

Griezmann’s fourth, then four minutes of chaos
Griezmann doubled it in the 64th. A three-on-one break, left foot from the left side of the area, the ball trickling inside the far corner for his fourth goal in Orlando colours. He arrived at this game off the back of his first MLS brace, scored last Saturday in a 2-1 comeback win over Real Salt Lake. A goal and an assist here means a direct hand in four Orlando goals inside eight days.
Then Minnesota scored three times in four minutes.
Marcus Caldeira started it in the 71st, redirecting a Kelvin Yeboah cross into the middle of the net from close range. Anthony Markanich headed in Joaquin Pereyra’s corner three minutes later for his sixth of the season. Yeboah finished the sequence a minute after that, hooking home a scissor-kick rebound off a Kyle Duncan shot for his 11th, the best tally at the club.
What the point actually changes
Not much for Orlando. They stay ninth in the Eastern Conference on 25 points, and the playoff line is still sitting above them.
Minnesota will feel this one longer. They lost starting goalkeeper Drake Callender to concussion protocol at half-time, sent Alec Smir on cold for two saves, dominated for an hour without leading, then held the lead for 19 minutes and gave it back in stoppage time. Their 29 points from 22 matches should read better than they do.
Griezmann walked off with a goal, an assist and a draw. Spicer walked off having decided the thing.
