The first corner decided everything
Marco Bezzecchi had pole. He’d broken the circuit record. He even nailed the start.
And he came out of Turn 1 in third.
Marc Marquez dived to the inside without warning. The Italian was forced wide, Alex Marquez slipped into his brother’s wheel. A family one-two in a matter of seconds at Aragon, right in front of the Spanish crowd.
After that, not much changed. Marc Marquez led every lap of the sprint and crossed the line 1″140 clear of his younger brother. Bezzecchi completed the podium without ever really getting back into it.

Behind them, the fight was clear enough
Jorge Martin arrived in Aragon as championship leader. He leaves Saturday with five points and a hefty dose of frustration.
His battle with Raul Fernandez cost him early, right from lap one. While they scrapped over fourth, Pedro Acosta picked off both of them. Martin took fifth back down the straight on lap two, then went after Acosta after the KTM rider made a mistake in sector two. Fourth by lap three.
Two laps later, he ran wide at Turn 10. Acosta came back through. End of story.
Zarco scores, Quartararo blows up
Fermin Aldeguer took sixth after a last-lap scrap with Diogo Moreira, who finished seventh. Raul Fernandez followed just behind.
Johann Zarco grabbed the final point in ninth, his first race back from injury. A touch over a tenth of a second ahead of Jack Miller. Solid enough for a return, nothing more, but a return all the same.
Fabio Quartararo was not so lucky. Engine gone, out. Luca Marini crashed on the opening lap, Fabio Di Giannantonio went down a little later. Francesco Bagnaia finished 11th, barely ahead of Alex Rins, which is a long way from what you expect from a factory Ducati.
The main race is on Sunday.
