Henderson was untouchable for seven innings
Logan Henderson gave Texas nothing to work with. The Milwaukee right-hander faced 22 batters over seven innings on Friday night. Only one of them scored. Danny Jansen homered with two outs in the third. That was it.
The 24-year-old rookie struck out seven and matched his career high for innings in the majors. He is now 9-2. Since the All-Star break, he is 6-1 with a 1.88 ERA. Milwaukee have found their rotation ace at exactly the right time of year.
The Brewers beat the Texas Rangers 6-1 for a third straight win. They still own the best record in the majors.

Fourteen hits, and Texas never got close
Milwaukee struck first in the opening inning. Brice Turang dropped in a hit off starter Cody Bradford, then reached second on a throwing error by the pitcher. A deep fly from Jackson Chourio moved him to third. William Contreras brought him home with a groundout.
Christian Yelich doubled soon after and drove in Jake Bauers. 2-0 after one.
Contreras finished with two hits in four at-bats and three RBIs. Bauers was perfect, going two for two with three walks and two runs scored. Yelich had three hits in five trips, his sixth three-hit game of the season. The Brewers piled up 14 hits in all.
The sixth inning stretched the lead. David Hamilton lashed a two-out single to center to bring home Garrett Mitchell.
Bradford hung on, the rest fell apart
Cody Bradford was making his fifth start since returning from a left elbow injury suffered in 2025 spring training. He threw 100 pitches, 19 more than in any other outing this season. Three runs, nine hits, two walks and no strikeouts across five and two-thirds innings. He drops to 0-3.
Aaron Ashby took over from Henderson in the eighth. One hit, one walk, then Jansen came up with two men aboard. Ground ball to Turang. Threat over.
DL Hall finished it off in the ninth. Three batters faced, three strikeouts. Texas have now lost three in a row.
