A start that lasts one play
South Sydney have found a way to hand Jai Arrow his 100th game for the club. The NRL released its Round 26 team lists at 4pm AEST on Tuesday, and the Rabbitohs named Arrow in the run-on side wearing 23 for Saturday’s trip to the Gold Coast. Cameron Murray drops to the bench at 13.
The mechanics are straightforward. Arrow takes the field, leaves it almost immediately, and Murray replaces him. The appearance counts. Souths have also pencilled Arrow in for Round 27, closing out the milestone across the last two rounds of the regular season.
Kick-off against the Titans comes on Saturday at 3pm AEST. The Gold Coast lose Fermor from their seventeen and name Josh Patston at 11.

Who is missing across the round
Newcastle carry the longest casualty list. The Knights travel to the Warriors on Sunday without Crossland, Frizell and Young, while New Zealand drop Watene-Zelezniak. Penrith face Canterbury on Friday night without Cogger and Patea, and the Bulldogs lose Mann and Sua.
North Queensland go into Saturday night’s game against Wests Tigers missing McIntyre and Taulagi. The Tigers are without Alex Twal. Manly lose Koula for their Friday meeting with St George Illawarra, who drop Liddle. Parramatta name their side without Funa and Samrani, and Cronulla lose Stonestreet.
Two rounds left to settle the ladder
Round 26 is the second last of the 2026 regular season, so these squads read as selections rather than rotations. Brisbane open the round against Melbourne on Thursday at 7:50pm AEST with nobody ruled out. The Roosters and the Dolphins meet on Saturday evening with Radley unavailable. Parramatta and Cronulla close the round on Sunday afternoon.
